This is a fanwork made by Lisa Roldan ("@theRoldanator" or "u/tnnlsnks"). I do not own Fallout, nor do I work for Bethesda any way (Hire Me)(Please). All characters and plot lines that take place in this fanwork are mine and my words only. All opinions by characters are not representative of my own. [[begin|who are you?]]Choose any of the premade characters: You are a young (link: "man")[(set: $gender to "m")(goto: "Name")] that grew up in Vault 700. You're finally considered an Adult by the Vault after your twentieth birthday, and have started working as part of the peacekeepers in the Vault. You lived a quaint life, with a mother and a father, and a younger sister. You're not the smartest, but you're strong and you're well liked by the community. You are a young (link: "woman")[(set: $gender to "f")(goto: "Name")] that grew up in Vault 700. An Adult at the age of twenty-five, you're sensible in your own right, and you've got a good head on you. Many avoid you because of your blunt words, but you have friends here and there. You started training with the Science Division with plans to learn all you can and help the Vault continue to thrive, though you're still considered a student in the eyes of the other scientists and are not included in any major research. Your education is going slowly, as many of the more decorated (and older) scientists seem slow to trust you. You only know your mother, and your father has died before you could even remember him. You identify as (link: "neither man nor woman")[(set: $gender to "n")(goto: "Name")]. You grew up in Vault 700. You're old enough to be considered an Adult by the elders in the Vault at the tender age of twenty-two, and you work as one of the doctors. You're not a scientist, in fact, it seems that the scientists avoid you and your fellow health officials. You seem to be proficient with guns, since you practice religiously ever since your father brought you to the firing range in the deep recesses of the Vault. Your father died some years back, the cause a mystery to a younger you, and your mother works with you keeping the others in the community healthy.{(if: $gender is "m")[ (set: $heshe to "he") (set: $hesheis to "he's") (set: $himher to "him") (set: $hisher to "his") (set: $boygirl to "boy") (set: $boysgirls to "boys") (set: $manwoman to "man") (set: $menwomen to "men") (set: $guygirl to "guy") (set: $guysgirls to "guys") (set: $dudechick to "dude") (set: $sciencediv to "no") (set: $medicdiv to "no") (set: $pubsafetydiv to "yes") (set: $S to 8) (set: $P to 5) (set: $E to 7) (set: $C to 5) (set: $I to 2) (set: $A to 5) (set: $L to 5) ] (if: $gender is "f")[ (set: $heshe to "she") (set: $hesheis to "she's") (set: $himher to "her") (set: $hisher to "her") (set: $boygirl to "girl") (set: $boysgirls to "girls") (set: $manwoman to "woman") (set: $menwomen to "women") (set: $guygirl to "girl") (set: $guysgirls to "girls") (set: $dudechick to "chick") (set: $sciencediv to "yes") (set: $medicdiv to "no") (set: $pubsafetydiv to "no") (set: $S to 4) (set: $P to 9) (set: $E to 4) (set: $C to 1) (set: $I to 10) (set: $A to 5) (set: $L to 2) ] (if: $gender is "n")[ (set: $heshe to "they") (set: $hesheis to "they're") (set: $himher to "them") (set: $hisher to "their") (set: $boygirl to "person") (set: $boysgirls to "people") (set: $manwoman to "person") (set: $menwomen to "people") (set: $guygirl to "person") (set: $guysgirls to "person") (set: $dudechick to "dude") (set: $sciencediv to "no") (set: $medicdiv to "yes") (set: $pubsafetydiv to "no") (set: $S to 3) (set: $P to 7) (set: $E to 5) (set: $C to 5) (set: $I to 9) (set: $A to 3) (set: $L to 3) ] (put: (prompt: "And your name?") into $name)} Your name is $name, and you [[wake up]].{(if: $P >= 6)[<p>You wake up and immediately notice that you're (most likely) not where you fell asleep.</p> <p>For one thing, you're wet, or at least as close to wet as you can call... however you feel.
